selfless service to the society, on account of which Haridham temple has been transformed into a holy place of pilgrimage where a great number of people have got rid of their woes and wounds by the counselling and blessings of Saints. This benevolent act of redeeming people from their miseries is continually being done here. People’s undetachable attachment towards Haridham makes them regard it as their own and they frequently visit it and stay there for days together off and on.
On the days of religious festivals and on every Poornima, great many devotees nearly 10,000 come to the Temple. The devotees coming from distant places come here on the previous day and stay for the night. The devotees coming to Haridham on foot for the Darshan on every Poornima, also make a halt here for the night. All this makes it necessary to make an arrangement for free food and night halt in the Temple for a large number of people.Haridham temple is a holy place of pilgrimage where a great number of people comes everyday approximately 2,000 people visit for darshan of God and takes free food.
