Annakut Utsav - 2016, Wellington, NZ

On Date: 12 November 2016
Activity: Festival

The festival of Annakut was celebrated in Community Hall of Wellington in New Zealand on Saturday, the 12th November 2016 in the presence of regional saints P. Shashvatswami, P. Suyogswami and P. Ashokbhai (Secretary) in which, around 125 devotees from Wellington and surrounding areas had participated with zeal where, the ladies from the mandal had presented 151 different food items to Shree Thakorjee in Annakut to present their devotion.

In the beginning of the sabha, the portraits of Shree Thakorjee and Guruhari were worshiped by garlanding them and then, the saints and the guests present there were welcomed by garlanding and presenting the bouquets to them, followed by presentation of Dhoon-Bhajans by the devotees from the kirtan-mandal who had soaked listeners in their spirit of devotion.

In his inaugural speech, P.B. Amitbhai (Auckland) had, citing different related incidents, explained that, the friendliness with bhagavadi saints is inevitable for understanding the hearty wish of God and the bhagavadswaroop saints and to please them.

Speaking next, P. Suyogswami narrated the related incidents and said that, to enjoy the Dipotsavi permanently in our life, we need the company/shelter of a pragat saint in our life.

Citing various related incidents, P. Ashokbhai said that, to enjoy the Dipotsavi permanently in our life, we have got to be/remain in touch with/company of saints constantly. By narrating related examples, he said that, by giving His warmth and love, Guruhari P.P. Swamishree Has created/established a vast society of thousands of noble and spirited youths internationally who are living their life with totally pure and positive eyes, ears and tongues.

Speaking in the end, P. Shashvatswami said that, by being in touch with saints and sabhas, we can remain in the sights of God and can continue our journey towards Him permanently. If we live our life with the strength/faith of Godlike saints, every day is a Dipotsavi for us because, then, under the circumstances, our spiritual leaders take total responsibility of our mind, body and wealth on them.

Offering/presenting thal with 151 different items of food, all the devotees collectively performed arti before Shree Thakorjee and sang thal. The ladies of the mandal had prepared all the items of Thal and, as a result of mutual Atmiyata and cooperation among members of entire mandal, nearly 125 devotees from Wellington and surrounding areas had attended sabha and felt fulfilled by taking Prasad there.
